Wrocław has a well-developed specialty coffee scene, with a large group of local roasters and cafés concentrated in and around the Old Town. Roasting shapes the city's taste: Paloma Coffee roasts in Wrocław and runs its café on Plac Solny, El Gato serves espresso, filter and cold brew at its café on Odrzańska, and Mała Czarna, a local palarnia kawy, pours its own coffee at a café by the Olympic Stadium on Paderewskiego. Figa, Kraj Coffee, Czarny Deszcz and Etno Cafe round out the local roaster list.
Many cafés work with guest Polish roasters instead of a single house supplier. Gniazdo, on Świdnicka opposite the Opera, is a breakfast-led kawiarnia that brews drip, Chemex and AeroPress alongside espresso. OTO Coffee Bar on Świętego Antoniego rotates beans from Polish roasteries and serves them in handmade ceramics. Cafe Rozrusznik offers AeroPress, Chemex and drip next to the usual milk drinks. For a visitor, przelew is a normal order here rather than a specialist request, and a walk between Plac Solny, Odrzańska and Świętego Antoniego covers several Old Town addresses.
