About Proud Mary Coffee Roasters
Proud Mary Coffee is a Collingwood, Melbourne specialty coffee roaster that Nolan Hirte started with the Proud Mary café on Oxford Street in 2009.
Its blends and single origins are roasted about a block from the café at Aunty Peg's, a two-storey site on Wellington Street with three roasting machines, a coffee bar, retail shop, events space and barista training centre. Proud Mary is known for competition-grade roasts and Geisha coffees. It also has a US base in Portland, Oregon, which roasts separately for its American cafés. Its beans rotate through Sydney cafés such as Ashfield Apothecary.
