About Ashfield Apothecary

Ashfield Apothecary on Charlotte Street is an Ashfield, Sydney specialty coffee café in a heritage shop near the train station, run by Mandeep Bhusal.

It rotates local roasters such as Proud Mary, Market Lane and Sample, adds an international guest every two months, from La Cabra or Square Mile, and pours a house blend that Bhusal roasts himself. The seasonal food is made in-house, from a pastrami breakfast roll to Persian love cake, and Broadsheet's 2026 guide singles out the pastrami sandwich. The facade is tiled in green and red.
