About Proud Mary Coffee
Proud Mary on Oxford Street is a Collingwood, Melbourne specialty coffee café that Nolan Hirte opened in 2009, just off Smith Street.
It serves Proud Mary's own blends and single origins, roasted about a block away at Aunty Peg's, as espresso, V60, AeroPress and cold drip. Two three-group Synesso machines are joined into a six-group machine, with a separate grinder for each single origin, beside a long L-shaped stone counter and brew bar. The brunch menu includes braised beef cheek and ricotta hotcakes. There is an outdoor area.
