About Aunty Peg's
Aunty Peg's on Wellington Street is the Collingwood, Melbourne specialty coffee roastery and brew bar of Proud Mary, opened by owner Nolan Hirte.
The two-storey building holds the roasting house, a coffee bar, retail shop, events space and barista training centre. The bar serves black coffee only: espresso from three taps built into the counter, and a Geisha cold brew steeped at a Geelong brewery and kegged. A bench lets visitors try V60, Clever Dripper, AeroPress and French press with Proud Mary coffee, and a free cupping runs on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.
