About ROTARY COFFEE
ROTARY COFFEE is a specialty coffee roastery café near Kumamoto Station, opened in November 2019.
It occupies a renovated building that once housed a curry shop. Owner and roaster Takashi Higashi roasts the beans in-house and sells them from 200 g, while his wife makes the desserts, including ice cream, cakes and seasonal tarts made with premium butter and Guérande salt. The upstairs café is finished in wood. A sister shop, LOBBY by ROTARY COFFEE, opened in 2022.
