About Shake Coffee Roasters
Shake Coffee Roasters is a Moonah, Hobart specialty coffee roaster and café run by Ian Merrigan from Main Road.
Its beans are used by other Hobart venues, including Pilgrim Coffee in the CBD, which builds a rotating menu of single-origin espressos around them. At the Moonah café and roastery, the coffee is served with chai from Flying High Chai and fresh pastries, and bags of beans are sold to take home. Urban List Hobart included Shake in its January 2026 guide to the city's coffee.
