About SOMEWHERE COFFEE BAR
Somewhere Coffee Bar on Elizabeth Street is a small Hobart specialty coffee bar run mostly by one person, owner and barista Brian Lam.
It focuses on pour-over and syphon brewing, using beans from international roasters, and Lam runs the bar mostly on his own. The food offer is a homemade basque cheesecake to go with the filter. The bar is on Elizabeth Street in the city centre. Urban List Hobart included Somewhere in its January 2026 guide to the city's coffee.
