About Calēre Coffee
Calere on Gertrude Street is a tiny Fitzroy, Melbourne specialty coffee nook run by Alicia Feng, beside the fine-dining restaurant Gaea.
Its coffee is always single origin, sourced from a rotating group of Australian roasters, and beans are sold by the bag. A small range of pastries is offered, along with handmade ceramic mugs and other merchandise. The space is open in the daytime only. Broadsheet updated its listing in May 2026 and includes Calere in its Melbourne coffee collection.
