About Core Roasters
Core Roasters on Barkly Street is a Brunswick East, Melbourne specialty coffee café and roastery with a 15 kg Roastmax on site.
Espresso is pulled on three Decent Espresso machines, long blacks are made lungo-style, and the kaya latte adds toasted coconut and gula melaka. Food includes pandan kaya toast, char siu pork tarts, mushroom rendang pasties, espresso banana bread and tiramisu cookies. There are lightly gassed iced teas from India and Taiwan and house-made hot chocolate. The café opens early and is quiet.
