About Blackboard Varsity
Blackboard Coffee on Varsity Parade is the Varsity Lakes, Gold Coast specialty coffee café of the roaster Blackboard, founded in 2011 by Nick Pearce.
The venue now seats 183. Its coffee is roasted in a Burleigh Heads warehouse, and Blackboard's beans are sold worldwide. The business also runs Blackboard Café Academy for roasting and training, and a mobile coffee truck for hire. Its Seasonal Espresso Blend, served here, is also poured at cafés as far as Toowoomba and Byron Bay.
Brewing espresso — roasted in-house.
