About Artificer Coffee
Artificer on Bourke Street is a Surry Hills, Sydney specialty coffee bar and roastery run by Dan Yee and Shoji Sasa that serves no food at all.
Each coffee is roasted to suit its own character, and the owners buy small lots often, so the menu changes regularly. The minimal room has floor-to-ceiling American oak, a bar with brushed brass edges and a few stools, with more room to stand. It opens daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and beans are sold to take home.
