About SK Coffee: Downtown Minneapolis
SK Coffee is a Minneapolis specialty coffee roaster founded in 2017 by Sam Kjellberg and Nate Broadbridge.
It began roasting on a 2-kilo Mill City Roasters machine inside the kitchen of The Salty Tart bakery in the Whittier neighborhood. Sourcing has included Peruvian coffee from Campesino Mateo, Guatemalan coffee from De La Gente and other origins through Cafe Imports, with a focus on single-origin microlots.
The Dalecarlian horse logo reflects Kjellberg's Swedish ancestry. SK runs cafés on Lyndale Avenue South, in the downtown skyway and at Vandalia Tower.
