About Reuben Hills
Reuben Hills is a Surry Hills, Sydney specialty coffee roaster opened in 2012 by Russell Beard, roasting on the mezzanine above its Albion Street café.
Head roaster Nick Theodore and Beard have travelled widely to build relationships with growers, and the company supports farming communities through infrastructure and education programmes. Its coffee, mostly from Central and South America, is used in the café and sold wholesale across Sydney. Filter is brewed on a Marco SP9, a free public cupping runs on Saturday mornings, and the menu draws on the regions where the beans are grown.
