Primary Coffee Roasters is a Potts Point, Sydney specialty coffee roaster run by Dan Kim, a former head roaster at Brewtown Newtown.
Kim also opened Heritage Coffee Brewers in Summer Hill. Primary is his first solo venture and roasts on site on Ward Avenue, focusing on single origins for filter and espresso. Its seasonal blend is half Ethiopian and half Colombian, with caramel, chocolate and nougat notes, served with Jersey milk from Warrnambool in Victoria. Primary opened a second site on Chapel Street in Marrickville with its own micro-roastery.
