About Padre Coffee Brunswick East
Padre Coffee is a Brunswick East, Melbourne specialty coffee roaster founded in 2008 by Marinus Jansen, a former software engineer.
About half its roasting is done at its original Lygon Street café and the rest at a warehouse around the corner. Padre sources coffee from estates worldwide, including Indonesia and India, with house blends such as Daddy's Girl for espresso and Hey Buddy for filter, plus single origins, filter bags and espresso pods. It runs barista, roasting and cupping courses and has cafés in Brunswick East, South Melbourne Market, Noosa and Paddington in Sydney.
