About Single O Newstead
Single O on Austin Street is the Newstead, Brisbane specialty coffee café of the Sydney roaster Single O, which roasts at its solar-powered Roastworks.
Single O was founded in 2003 by Dion and Emma Cohen as Single Origin Roasters, is a certified B Corp and runs a programme with Reground that has given away one million used coffee pucks. Its other Australian cafés are in Surry Hills and at Carriageworks in Sydney. The Newstead café serves Single O's blends and single origins, and beans are sold to take home.
