About Walden Woods Kyoto
WALDEN WOODS KYOTO is a specialty coffee shop and roastery in a converted building in Kyoto's Shimogyo, a short walk from Kawaramachi. The all-white, gallery-like interior with a stepped seating area upstairs draws many visitors with cameras.
Coffee is roasted in house on a 1960s vintage Probat, with single origins and blends served as filter and milk drinks. The menu also includes chai made with spices sourced on the owners' travels, specialty teas and baked goods.
