About % ARABICA Kyoto Higashiyama
% Arabica Kyoto Higashiyama is the original shop of the % Arabica specialty coffee brand, set on a lane below Hokanji Temple in Kyoto's Higashiyama. The brand began here and has since opened cafés worldwide.
The white, minimal bar centres on espresso drinks made with % Arabica's own roasted coffee, including blends and single origins, and lattes are the house favourite. Beans are sold by the bag. Across the street the brand runs a separate dining space serving Japanese breakfast.
