About Kurasu Kyoto Stand
Kurasu Kyoto Stand is a small specialty coffee stand a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station in Shimogyo. It was Kurasu's first café, a 28-square-metre counter designed for close conversation between barista and customer.
The menu offers four to six single origins as hand drip alongside espresso drinks, with coffee roasted by Kurasu at its Nishijin roastery and guest lots from Japanese partner roasters. Beans, drip bags and brewing equipment are sold at the counter, making it a common first stop for visitors arriving by train.
