About IOLITE COFFEE ROASTERS
IOLITE COFFEE ROASTERS is a specialty coffee roaster and café on Nishinotoin street near Rokkaku in Kyoto's Nakagyo. Owner Daisuke Yoshida roasts, brews and runs the shop, which occupies his grandfather's former wagashi sweets shop.
Espresso is made on a La Marzocco Linea, and the bar focuses on single origins from Ethiopia and Rwanda alongside house blends. Food includes hot dogs, curry quiche, scones, madeleines and monaka, and beans are sold in store and online. The shop also closes on the third Tuesday and Wednesday of each month.
