IOLITE COFFEE ROASTERS is a Kyoto specialty coffee roaster run by owner-roaster Daisuke Yoshida from a café in Nakagyo Ward. The shop occupies his grandfather's former wagashi sweets shop on Nishinotoin street.
The business sources specialty beans from farms around the world and roasts them on site. The lineup includes single origins, with Ethiopian and Rwandan coffees prominent, and house blends, sold in the shop and through an online store.
Iolite also supplies wholesale beans to other businesses and offers food pairing, training support and event catering.
