About Goodman Roaster Kyoto
Goodman Roaster Kyoto is a specialty coffee roastery café near Karasuma in Kyoto's Shimogyo Ward. It is run by Atsuomi Ito, who operated cafés in Taiwan and Hong Kong before bringing the brand to Kyoto.
Coffee is roasted on site on a Diedrich IR5, with a sister roastery in Taipei. The menu features light-roasted single origins chosen for sweetness and gentle acidity, espresso blends, and Taiwanese coffee from Alishan, a rare origin in Japan.
