About Sunbear Coffee
Sunbear on Collins Street is a Hobart specialty coffee café in a former teddy bear shop, with a warm, home-style interior.
It uses Coffee Supreme beans and serves coffee in vintage mugs, including a butterscotch latte. The kitchen, whose team includes an alumnus of The Agrarian Kitchen, makes house pickles, ricotta, scones and cakes, plus farm-fresh small plates. Coffee Supreme beans are roasted in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Both Time Out and Urban List included Sunbear in their 2026 guides to Hobart coffee.
