About REC COFFEE Fukuoka Prefecture East Shop
REC COFFEE Kencho Higashi is a Fukuoka specialty coffee café in Higashi Ward, east of the prefectural offices.
The bar pulls espresso from REC's house-roasted blends and offers single-origin filter coffee, and whole beans roasted at the company's Hakata Roastery are sold at the counter. The café has 36 seats indoors and a terrace where dogs are allowed. REC was founded by a former World Barista Championship competitor and runs several cafés across the city, so menus and beans are consistent from one branch to the next.
