About REC COFFEE Hakata Marui Shop
REC COFFEE Hakata Marui is a Fukuoka specialty coffee café on the sixth floor of Hakata Marui at Hakata Station.
The bar pulls espresso from REC's house-roasted blends and offers single-origin filter coffee, and whole beans roasted at the company's Hakata Roastery are sold at the counter. The 50-seat café is open daily until 21:00, handy before or after a train. REC was founded by a former World Barista Championship competitor and runs several cafés across the city, so menus and beans are consistent from one branch to the next.
