About REC COFFEE Yakuin Station Shop
REC COFFEE Yakuin Ekimae is a REC COFFEE café serving the Fukuoka roaster's own specialty coffee in Fukuoka's Yakuin district by the subway station.
The bar pulls espresso from REC's house-roasted blends and offers single-origin filter coffee, and whole beans roasted at the company's Hakata Roastery are sold at the counter. The flagship has 50 seats plus a terrace where dogs of any size are welcome, and it stays open late into the night. REC was founded by a former World Barista Championship competitor and runs several cafés across the city, so menus and beans are consistent from one branch to the next.
