About The Grounds Coffee Factory
The Grounds Coffee Factory on Locomotive Street is an Eveleigh, Sydney specialty coffee roastery and café that opened in 2024.
It occupies a former railway workers' cafeteria. Head roaster Nick Ferguson works on site, and beans travel through the room on a transport system. Roaster tours, cuppings and home barista classes are offered. Chef James Kidman runs breakfast until 11:30 a.m., then lunch such as a fish sandwich and veal parmigiana. Dogs are welcome outdoors. It opens 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.
