Standing Room Coffee on Grattan Street is a Carlton, Melbourne specialty coffee café that opened in late 2025, designed by Dion Hall.
The business began in 2013 as a tiny campus espresso bar serving students. It pours locally roasted coffee, including a seasonal espresso blend and single origins from Kenya, Ethiopia, Bolivia and Colombia, as espresso and filter. Its other café faces Edinburgh Gardens in Fitzroy North and has a full kitchen. Sitchu included Standing Room in its October 2026 guide to Melbourne coffee.
