About Dagger Coffee // Zijdebalen
Dagger Coffee Zijdebalen is a specialty coffee bar and roastery café in a historic cottage by the Vecht in Utrecht.
Dagger roasts its own beans, buying from regular producers at a transparent, sustainable price, with at least half of the coffee grown by women farmers, and offers three flavour profiles to suit different tastes. Espresso, V60 and batch brew are on the bar, with AeroPress too, and beans are sold for home. Cinnamon buns are made in the kitchen every day, and breakfast, toasties and lunch follow, with vegan options and plant-based milks. There is a terrace outside. Opening hours are eight to three on weekdays except Monday, and longer at the weekend.
