About Skittle Lane
Skittle Lane on King Street is a Sydney specialty coffee café in the CBD run by Jodie Foster and Dean Wooding, named after the adjacent laneway.
The laneway was once a bowling alley for sailors and soldiers. The café pours its own seasonal blend, now roasted at the team's Brookvale roastery, with rotating single origins for espresso and filter and a pour-over bar. Food includes New York-style toasties, tartine sandwiches and croissants from Penny Fours. The minimal fit-out uses the original bay windows, and ChuChu ceramics are sold.
