About Humble Origins Coffee Roasters
Humble Origins Coffee Roasters on Joo Chiat Road is a Singapore specialty coffee café serving beans from the Shan hills of Myanmar.
Its founders, a couple, lived in Myanmar for ten years working with smallholder coffee producers and source directly from them. The Stories blend, with notes of chocolate praline and vanilla, goes into long blacks, flat whites and the gula melaka Dirty Tiger, and filter brews feature Behind The Leaf lots from Pinlaung. Brunch dishes include XO kaya Yorkshire pudding and croissant sandwiches. It is closed on Tuesdays.
