About Humble Origins Coffee Roasters
Humble Origins Coffee Roasters is a Singapore specialty coffee roaster focused on coffee from the Shan hills of Myanmar.
It sources directly from smallholder farmers. Its founders lived in Myanmar for ten years and worked with smallholder producers across several villages before opening their café on Joo Chiat Road. The range includes the Stories blend, with notes of chocolate praline, vanilla pod and strawberry fig, and filter lots from the Behind The Leaf project in Pinlaung, in washed and honey processes. The coffee is served at the Joo Chiat café as espresso drinks and filter brews.
