About Cata Coffee
Cata Coffee on Joo Chiat Place is a Singapore specialty coffee café where the roastery is visible behind a glass partition at the back.
Run by Marian and Han, who started Cata as an online roastery in 2016, it serves weekly rotating single origins chosen for seasonality, as black and white espresso drinks and manually brewed filter coffee that changes with each harvest, hot or iced. Marian grew up around her family's coffee farms in the Venezuelan Andes. The café opens Thursday to Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
