About Nice
Nice is a neighbourhood specialty coffee café on the Hoogstraat in central Rotterdam, run by two owners, one of them a DJ.
Espresso comes from A Matter of Concrete, the Van Nelle roastery of Rob Clarijs, while milk drinks have been made with Bonanza from Berlin, and La Cabra beans have also appeared on the bar. A rotating batch brew is poured next to a La Marzocco Linea PB. The short food menu covers sandwiches such as a mushroom melt and a miso squash sandwich, soft scramble on brioche, granola and pistachio cake. The corner space has big windows, a communal table and a carefully chosen music selection that follows the owner's DJ background.
