About Tinker Coffee Co. Roastery
Tinker Coffee Co. is an Indianapolis specialty coffee roaster founded in 2014 by brothers-in-law Steve Hall and Jeff Johnson.
It roasts on a Loring Kestrel at its East 16th Street roastery between Herron-Morton and the Old Northside, a small building with large picture windows where passers-by can watch the roasting. Tinker focuses on single-origin coffees, serves wholesale customers with training and equipment tune-ups, and runs popular Sunday cupping classes.
Its own cafés are on East Market Street downtown, at The Firehouse in Butler-Tarkington and inside The AMP at 16 Tech.
