About Pala Kaffebrenneri
Pala Kaffebrenneri is a specialty coffee roaster at Tiller in Trondheim, founded in 2018 by Idar Ellingsen.
The current range includes Ethiopian coffees such as Banko Gotiti and Chelbesa Natural from Gedeb and Karumandi AA from Kirinyaga in Kenya. Pala sells online with a monthly subscription that ships on the first Wednesday of each month, and supplies cafés and offices as a wholesale partner.
The roastery also runs barista courses, with new dates announced for autumn 2026, and holds occasional open-roastery events.
