About hos Carlos kaffebar biblioteket
Hos Carlos Biblioteket is the second specialty coffee bar from Hos Carlos, located inside Haugesund public library. It opened in 2019 and pours coffee from Norwegian roasters including Solberg & Hansen, Jacu, Langøra, Tim Wendelboe and Pala.
The business is run by the Monclair family, Carlos Abdo Monclair and Karina Monclair. Carlos is a Norwegian coffee brewing champion and placed fifth at the world championship for Turkish coffee. The original café at Gamle Slaktehuset opened in 2014; the library branch follows the library's daytime hours.
