About MANLY COFFEE
ROASTERY MANLY COFFEE is a Fukuoka specialty coffee roaster founded in 2008 by Noriko Sunaga, a former Starbucks Coffee Ambassador.
The business started in Koasa, moved to Hirao in 2016 and took its current name in 2021. Sunaga roasts on a Smart Roaster, and recent offerings include Ethiopia, Guatemala and Burundi. She helped found the COF-FUK group of Fukuoka coffee businesses.
Beans are sold at the Hirao shop, a converted wooden house, which also serves them as AeroPress, espresso and milk brew.
