Kaffeerösterei Maitz is a Sankt Anna am Aigen specialty coffee roaster in the Vulkanland wine region of southeast Styria.
It roasts on a Giesen drum roaster set behind glass in its café, so guests can watch, and offers both light, fruity roasts and bold, robust ones. The roastery café serves its coffee with homemade pastries and breakfast and opens Tuesday to Saturday. Falstaff's 2027 café guide rates it 95 points, with 39 of 40 for the coffee, and ranks it first among Styria's cafés with their own roasting. Beans can be bought on site.
