About Kai Coffee Hawaii Roastery
Kai Coffee Hawaii is a family-owned Honolulu specialty coffee roaster run by Sam and Natalie Suiter from a roasting facility on Kapahulu Avenue.
The owners bring more than 25 years of industry experience, and the company describes its beans as hand picked, processed and artisan roasted. It stresses that Hawaii is the only US state where coffee grows, crediting volcanic soil, a warm climate, rainfall and natural shade. The roastery has a walk-up window open weekday and weekend mornings, and the coffee is served at Kai cafés in the Alohilani Resort, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, Queens Arbor and the Waikiki Shopping Plaza, where it is brewed as pour-over, AeroPress, French press and cold brew.
