Jovial is a small-batch specialty coffee roaster in Constanța that prints the roast date on every bag.
Orders reach anywhere in Romania within 24–48 hours. The roastery on strada Mircea cel Bătrân roasts only 100% Arabica and profiles each origin separately, for espresso, for filter methods such as V60, Chemex and AeroPress, or as an omni roast for both. Its view is that freshness is the one thing good coffee cannot make up for. Green coffee comes through importers with direct farmer relationships, and recent lots include Burundi Kibingo, El Salvador from Hermanos Mena and Costa Rica's Finca El Cerro, plus Ethiopian and Colombian coffees.
