About Grounded Craft Coffee
Grounded Craft Coffee is a Rotterdam specialty coffee roaster near Centraal station, founded in 2018 by Zahir Omar and Ibtesam Davids.
The beans are roasted on site at the Proveniersstraat café, slower and lighter than average, and head roaster Zahir Omar has a particular focus on filter coffee and the V60. The range covers ethically sourced lots from Uganda, Brazil, Colombia, Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, Peru and Ethiopia, with current coffees including Kibingo and El Corozal.
Coffee is sold in reusable PET bottles with a return discount, compostable refill packs and 1 kg bags, and Grounded also runs brewing workshops and supplies restaurants, offices and shops.
