Cxffeeblack is a Memphis specialty coffee roaster founded by Renata Henderson and Bartholomew Jones.
It uses coffee as a way to appreciate Black people and help them reclaim their heritage as the original coffee brewers. Its products include roasted coffee, GoldBrew, the Brew Up subscription box, weekly Friday drops and Rep Chain, a founding box described as paying farmers like artists.
Cxffeeblack raised more than $400,000 through community equity crowdfunding, was named Notable Roaster at the 2024 Sprudgies and opened its headquarters, with a café, roastery and education space, near National Street in December 2025.
