About Cxffeeblack
Cxffeeblack is a Memphis specialty coffee roaster and café whose headquarters opened in December 2025 in the Mitchell Heights area near National Street.
Founded by Renata Henderson and Bartholomew Jones, Cxffeeblack uses coffee to celebrate Black people and help them reclaim their heritage as the original coffee brewers. The new building, which grew out of the Anti-Gentrification Coffee Club pop-up, combines a coffee shop, a roastery and an education and event space. The company won Notable Roaster at the 2024 Sprudgies and sells coffee, GoldBrew and subscription boxes with weekly Friday drops.
