Coffeedot is a Kumamoto specialty coffee roaster that sells single origins only and no blends.
Roaster Hiroto Katsumoto keeps about 15 coffees in stock and rotates them with the seasons. Bean sales are the core of the business, and each bag comes with a card describing the coffee. Guides describe the roaster as award-winning.
The roastery shop is in the YARD complex in Higashi Ward, overlooking Lake Kamiezu, and an earlier sister shop, in・to coffee stand, opened in 2016. Drip coffee is discounted for customers buying beans.
