Michikusa Coffee Roaster is a Saga specialty coffee roaster founded in 2012 by Kohei Furukawa.
Furukawa roasts on a 5 kg GOLDEN roaster from Turkey, installed in 2021, and focuses on direct-trade beans, including Ethiopia, Guatemala, Colombia and a decaf from Mexico. He avoids a fixed house style and adjusts roasts to daily conditions, aiming for each day's coffee to taste better than the last.
Beans are sold at the Honjo shop, online and through a 3,400 yen subscription, and the roaster also supplies wholesale customers.
