About Bun Coffee Byron Bay
Bun Coffee is a Byron Bay specialty coffee roaster founded around 2005 by master roaster David Kennedy and his wife Jenny.
The couple moved from Sydney to northern New South Wales. They planned a café with an attached roastery but, after council obstacles, became a wholesale roastery, and its roastery gained full organic certification in 2007. About 60 single origins are offered at any time, from regions including the Himalayas, Hawaii, Madagascar and Australia, with a priority on organic, Fairtrade and sustainable producers. Bun runs espresso bars in Byron Bay and Ballina and uses recyclable bags and home-compostable pods.
