Black Market Roasters is a Marrickville, Sydney specialty coffee roaster co-owned by Jess Hol, who taught herself to roast in her garage, and her partner Angus.
Its Cadogan Street headquarters combines the roastery with a café, a tasting room and a training space, where it runs tasting experiences, food pairings and courses for home brewers and baristas. It offers blends for milk coffee and single origins for filter and cold brew, such as a natural Ethiopian from the Adorsi washing station in Yirgacheffe, sold in 250 g and 1 kg bags.
