AMAMERIA ESPRESSO is a specialty coffee roaster in Tokyo's Musashi-Koyama, Shinagawa City, established in 2010. Owner Toshiaki Ishii has a background in barista competition.
The roastery buys only coffees scoring 84 points or higher and roasts to draw out fruit and aromatic complexity in each single origin.
Beyond the Musashi-Koyama shop it has locations in Himonya and Gotanda (Gotanda Shokudo), sells beans through an online shop, and was profiled by Daily Coffee News among Tokyo's micro roasteries in 2014. It also advises cafés, restaurants and hotels on extraction and equipment.
